Our Johnnies basketball family and hoop fans in New York City take great pride in Chris Mullin being honored with his induction into the Naismith and Collegiate Basketball Halls of Fame this year, and his number being retired by the Golden State Warriors.

Honestly, we felt it was the right thing to do ... People were clamoring for honoring Chris Mullin around here. He was dismissed by the organization in an unfair way. ... We felt it was important to not be silent on the matter.
It was the most fun I had playing basketball in my whole life ... What Tim had, I didn't have. What Mitch could do, I couldn't do. Together, Nellie figured out how to mix and match that thing. I loved that style of play.
