I went off but I was four times more nervous watching it than I was before the match and on the pitch
He's the captain, they've already lost Gary Cahill … he should be there leading by example. How on earth did he think he was going to get away with that?
To miss these games coming up my hamstring will have to be absolutely torn to shreds
It was a stunning win for Chelsea and they deserve massive credit but it has come at a cost with John Terry and Branislav Ivanovic set to miss the final through suspension and Gary Cahill an obvious injury doubt. It will take another incredible effort to lift the trophy.
I'm hoping it's better than we first thought.
They [England] did OK with Gary Cahill and Chris Smalling dealing with the Dutch pretty well on the whole, particularly Robin van Persie in the first half.
But I watched those last 20 minutes with JT, saw them hit the post and have a goal ruled out, and it was so nerve-racking ... In the end we tipped the tunnel upside down. Everything went over.
I'm hoping it's not as bad as we first thought
I was devastated that I had no more part to play in the game and, when I looked up and saw JT come through the door, I'll be honest, I probably feared the worst. But the lads were absolutely outstanding, the way they stuck together and ground out the result. It was amazing. Phenomenal, absolutely phenom...
The other night, I think physically I've run more in games, but the concentration level had to be unbelievably high and that's what all the lads did. So we need that again
I think we require similar to the home leg: a little element of luck, defensively as a whole unit everyone sticking to their task and the concentration level
I think we'll require (a game) similar to the home leg ... A little element of luck, defensively as a whole unit everyone sticking to their task, and the (same) concentration level.
It was great practice coming up against the likes of Robin van Persie, who's in form this season, and is one of the best forwards in the world at the minute
That's the sort of feeling I got when I first played with him for England
Our game-plan will probably be the same
Playing against Robin van Persie was good practice moving into the Barcelona game
It was cagey, but we are happy with the result ... A draw was a fair result and keeps up our momentum. The rest is now important for what will be a massive game on Tuesday.
He's a different sort of challenge to Messi
Since he took the job Roberto Di Matteo has done phenomenally
Defensively, I thought as a team everyone stood up to their task and the reason we won was because of the concentration levels ... The shape was a bit more defensive than we are used to but you have to play like that considering the amount of possession that they have. There's always an element of luck ...
I could hear that being sung and it was obviously tremendous and a proud moment for me
What I will take from this game more than anything is that the concentration levels have to be so up there ... If you switch off for one second they have so many players who can change the game. It's mentally exhausting more than anything else but the defence as a whole were concentrating tonight. You c...
It was a fantastic result but it's only half-time
