I was actually surprised. I didn't really realize he could move as good as he can ... He's got some wheels for such a big guy. He gets going and he's pretty deadly going down that wing.
We’ve had several nights where the best-laid plans get washed away by the rare Drew Doughty signing or Jeff Carter trade. It comes with the territory
The last month of the regular season, we were playing playoff hockey
And did I mention you're not exactly the most exciting team to watch. Only the Kings would hire Darryl Sutter to coach when they were trying to open things up. I see Jeff Carter really lit it up when he came over. Sutter made him a 20-goal scorer. Unfortunately,, he was a 30-goal scorer when he arrived....

I don't think it should be a big problem. I had a couple days of practice here to get back up to speed, so it should be good
Jeff Carter, right after Joey MacDonald made a super ugly but athletic save. Priceless LA feed screenshot.
There's a little bit of pressure

Even with the addition of Jeff Carter
I've faced Jeff Carter whether with Philadelphia or Columbus, and he's really dangerous
It felt better today. I think it takes a little bit to warm up, but once I get going, it's been feeling pretty good
