It's been a great ride again ... Losing the kids we lost, there were questions. Rachael was a solid leader and great kid. I can't say enough about her the last two years. I wouldn't trade anything. If we're going to lose I'll go down with them.

Our older girls are going to have to help our younger girls along ... We're going to have to try and grow up as fast as we can because we'll have to throw some kids into the fire. But it's what we did in 2008 when we had four freshmen starting and it's no different than what John Cahill did in basketbal...

They play together and they play hard ... You put the kids together and they're better collectively than individually. I'm very proud.
I felt like there were points where we really had a chance to take the lead, tie it up or keep it close and we either didn't finish a play or get a call and (Bath) would come back with a big play ... Especially at halftime and right at the end of the quarter. The three at the end of third and the basket...
It just throws things off
You're as good as the kids you coach, and I've been blessed the last two years to have great kids ... It's an honor for my whole coaching staff. It's a direct reflection of the fact that we have great players.
Rachael, I think, is the face of the program and has been for the past couple years ... She has done an unbelievable job of defending, handling the ball and all the things you need to do to win basketball games.
It's a neat thing as her dad and the coach that her hard work is paying off
I think this will be a lot like last year in terms of the environment
It's a tough match-up for sure ... And when you add in their guard play, it becomes a pick your poison type of deal because they shoot the ball very well. They got good athletes, they get to the basket and they have that great size inside.
I think they're a much better team than they were a year ago ... They went from a junior-sophomore group to now a senior-junior group where they really added in some kids that are good pieces. It's going to be a tough game. They're very good.
I thought in the first half they were just a lot tougher than we were after the start
They just kept their composure (Tuesday)
Those two kids and their brothers grew up fighting ... They love each other. It's fun to play with your sister. Those two kids just fight the fight. They're going to play and play hard. I don't have to worry about that.
They're a blessing ... You'll have special groups periodically. It would be easy for this group to resent each other once in a while. They don't. It's a credit to them. If they don't buy in it doesn't work. They make us (coaches) look smart, which is a challenge.
My kids just have a real will to compete and play
Sometimes you step up to the foul line and there's a lot of people and you're missing, it can wear on your confidence in other aspects, but it didn't
We've had really good balance ... Going into Saturday, Rachael had made one 2-point basket in our first two tournament games. And we got great offense from her. In the Lexington game they really tried to take dribble-penetration away from her and we got really good play from Lexi Weber offensively. And ...
They're very athletic, and I think anytime you win 24 in a row you got a lot of confidence ... They're quick. They have good size. A 6-2 kid (Autumn Brown) in the middle that can step out and shoot it. So they're going to present a lot of problems just athletically. It'll be a tough match-up for us all ...
We're getting good all-around play from a lot of kids right now
We practice not fouling and it would look like we practiced fouling ... I mean we just took foul after foul after foul tonight. But when your playing a freshman and three sophomores -- and I never make excuses for this -- there is going to be some point in the tournament where they act their age. I thin...
We wanted to make her a priority, and I thought we did ... I think as far as one-on-one match-ups go, she's the toughest kid we've faced to guard, just because she'll share and she can shoot.
I felt like at some point in the tournament we'd have a young moment, and I don't know if we did totally, but Rachael was steady ... She had seven points here the other night (a 59-43 win over Lexington) and I actually had someone ask me if something was wrong with her. But I think she was just taking w...
It's the first time this year that we're going to be an underdog
I thought Kelsey was big again ... She seemed to be a factor all night.
