I got off to a slow start and that was the difference this week ... It was a little too much to catch up on today's round.
McIlroy isn't apologetic about being called the best golfer in the world right now. While he's shared the top spot with Luke Donald and Lee Westwood in recent times, currently the position belongs to him - and he doesn't have any plans of relinquishing it. Full Article at Golf 365

It's a nice consolation, [we're] going back and forth a little bit. [It's] Rory's turn next week at Quail Hollow. Chance to get it back
Need to bounce back like Luke Donald did today and shoot our version of -7!
That's a nice consolation
We are famous for not getting that right ... All these guys are very good and while you might think Luke Donald is the type of player to win here – and I personally think he is – Bubba Watson will probably win.
It was just a solid round. I had kind of a slow start on Thursday but 13 under for the last 36 holes is very pleasing and I'm playing a lot better. I'm back here in the mix a little bit
The thing I’ve seen is that in 1997 the purses on the PGA Tour, I think, was $69 million ... Now I think it’s $292 million. And it all reflects on one person – and it’s not really Phil [Mickelson] or Luke Donald or [Rory] McIlroy or [Lee] Westwood. It all comes back to Tiger.
It was certainly not quite as breezy as it was yesterday afternoon
It's too hard to play two tours at once ... It's hard to compete on one, let alone two. I've seen others try to do two. It's very difficult. Luke Donald did it last year. I know it's a Ryder Cup year. But if I'm playing well, maybe they'll take me.
It would be great to have more in England
Luke Donald was a player who had to use social media
I'm still going out there and being diligent on working on what I need to improve ... After the Masters I sat down and thought about what didn't go right and what I need to do to get better. Hopefully, by the time the Players' [Championship] and Wentworth roll around - and the US Open isn't far behind t...
I'm playing really well, it's just a matter of time when I'll win again ... It's just a matter of getting the results on the scorecard. I'm playing fine -- it's just patience is sometimes the most difficult thing. If you see Luke Donald, Lee Westwood, Rory McIlroy, and you have Hunter Mahan (fifth) who'...
This is a tricky course, actually
I’m really buzzing about it, we had so much fun and we both played so well throughout the tournament. I think we only hit two bad shots all week. I didn’t miss a fairway and Greg was straight on to the greens. I am most excited about having my name on the same board as World No.1 Luke Donald. I can’t wa...
It's not that pleasing to be honest because I've been driving it a lot better, giving myself more opportunities
Congrats Luke Donald! Impressive performance!
My short game hasn’t been sharp
To be honest in golf, you can have a rival if you want, but at the end of the day, your biggest rival is a golf course ... You have to be able to beat the golf course more often than not and thats all you are trying to do. Ultimately youre going to have to beat people coming down the stretch on Sundays ...
It's about managing the pressure, and I need to do a bit better job of that at the majors
Ultimately you're going to have to beat people coming down the stretch on Sundays and whether it is Tiger Woods or Phil Mickelson or Lee Westwood, Luke Donald or Martin Kaymer, or whoever, I would never really want to say that I am in a rivalry with someone.
My short game hasn't been quite as sharp as it was last year - that's something I'll be focusing on in the next few weeks
Is it a concern? No. Obviously, I'd have liked to have played a bit more consistently this year
It’s always a strange feeling when you’re teeing off early and don’t have a chance to win ... It’s hard to get motivated. I try on every round, on every shot, you never know when you’re going to find something, even on the greens, that just might click and make a difference in a week or two. You’re alwa...
