I played well today. I didn't get the ball in the hole as well as I would have liked
We try to be strategic with our exemptions ... We try to think, where is the next Bubba Watson? Where is the next Phil Mickelson, the next Tiger Woods? They're out there. They are looking for starts and building a relationship with them is something we take very, very seriously.
I feel like there's a hot round out there ... I'll come out here Friday afternoon and see if I can shoot something mid 60s and get right in it for the weekend. We've seen with McIlroy in 2010, the guy who makes the cut on the number can still win this tournament. It's not something I'll stress about.
We saw an ad for Phil Mickelson's teachers' academy
I played pretty well today and hit a lot of greens but made one mistake with the triple there
Similar to Phil Mickelson's shot on the par-5, 13th hole in the 2010 Masters, I squeezed an iron shot through a `Y' shaped gap in some trees during the 11th hole of an AJGA event in Aurora, Illinois. I hit an 8-iron from 155 yards and stuck it to within 10 feet and made the birdie putt.
Didn't you guys see my video?
My dream foursome would be Phil Mickelson, Steve Stricker, and Kevin James (actor of King of Queens, Hitch, etc.).
I wouldn’t be opposed to moving the age
As of the third round of the Masters, three of the top four leaders (Phil Mickelson, Louis Oosthuizen and Bubba Watson) were wearing the 'full Cleveland' (white belt and shoes). Is this the closest Cleveland will come to contention in 2012?
This is one of our best regular Tour events that we have
I think you're going to get a lot of the bigger names like you saw in Houston ... You'll see Phil Mickelson, the European guys — it'll be a little different field.
On the weekend, I felt I played about as well as I have ever ... I didn't make a single bogey, other than the mishap on 4.
The most important thing at Augusta is creativity, and Bubba can do that as well as anyone. Phil Mickelson has a great short game, dominant length and great creativity, and it's worked out well for him here.
I’m really excited to get back playing
My caddie always called it Bubba Golf. And, truthfully, it's like Seve played ... He hit shots that were unbelievable. Phil Mickelson, he hits the shot, goes for broke. So for me, that's what I do. I attack. Always attack. I don't like to go to the centre of the greens. I want to hit the incredible shot...
We’ve got one of the best courses tee to green I think we play all year
it's like Seve (Ballesteros) played. He hit shots that were unbelievable. And if you watch Phil Mickelson, he goes for broke. That's why he wins so many times. That's why he's not afraid. So for me, that's what I do. I just play golf. I attack. I always attack. I don't like to go to the centre of the gr...
When this tournament came into existence, it was done right
I thought Lee Westwood was going to win two years ago. Without Phil Mickelson doing what he did, he probably would have. He played stunning stuff and making four pars out of the woods on Sunday was the difference. On any other course, he’d have lost the balls. Of course, Mickelson is probably the best c...
You've got to play without fear ... You're going to make mistakes. It's going to happen. … Rather than play tentatively or with concern or fear or let somebody else hand it to you, I've always liked to try to get the tournament in my control.
It's a great course for me and I'm really trying to copy what Phil Mickelson does
I think it's a great decision just because of the way the green is designed
