He’s won over two and a half and three miles, I don’t know if he’ll stay four and a half but if I get that far, I won’t be doing too bad ... He’s a fantastic jumper and I wouldn’t swap him. I know him like the back of my hand.
It was straightforward today. He jumped and travelled and did everything right.
I jumped the water and I wasn't happy at that stage ... When Kauto Star couldn't lay up with Midnight Chase, I knew I was in trouble. I just went further and further back and I was struggling badly going to the fourth-last.
I'm not comparing him to Black Caviar for a minute, but running five or six furlongs on the flat is quite different from three miles over hurdles
He's an amazing horse ... I guess with the way some of ours were running, you were starting to doubt, but you'd be foolish to doubt this fella -- he's just a great horse, thank God I have him.
