"Fast & Furious 6" raced to No. 2, while "Man of Steel" rose back up to No. 3. Universal Studios Home Entertainment's Despicable Me 2 continued its impressive holiday run the week ended Dec. 29, landing atop both national disc sales charts for a third consecutive week. Fast & Furious 6, also from Universal, was No. 2 for the third week on the Nielsen VideoScan First Alert sales chart, which tracks overall DVD and Blu-ray Disc combined sales, and Nielsen's dedicated Blu-ray Disc sales chart. The only new release in the top 20 was Sony Pictures' Insidious Chapter 2 , which debuted at No. 9 on both charts. When it bowed on disc in early December it sold an estimated 4.5 million discs, DVD and Blu-ray Disc combined, within its first week in stores.
