Finishing in the top five is going to be a tall order. We've got a lot of injuries and we need to see how we go against Rennes. We'll keep working until May 20 and try to finish in a positive manner to give is something to build on for next season. We're four points behind Toulouse and that gap can be c...
Montpellier win, but that doesn’t change anything as far as we are concerned. We are still going to try and beat Lille and that would have been the same if Montpellier hadn't beaten Toulouse. We need to win because this is a crucial match we have to win to confirm second place in the standings and keep ...
Pre-season games are important as they give us a chance to try new patterns of play and integrate new players into the squad. During the course of the 2012/13 campaign we will be playing some of the toughest teams in Europe in both the Premiership and Heineken Cup, which is why it makes sense for us to ...
Some of their victories this season, like away in Toulouse and at Wembley against Saracens, have shown this is not just a team that can play, they’ve got real steel as well. They are very strong defensively and they have a very shrewd leader.
It is better to be playing Toulouse, who have something to play for, than against a side fighting relegation. Toulouse are chasing Europe and showed against Lyon how good a team they are. Both at home and on the road our trademark is playing attractive football.
Ulster are strong. They have a lot of strength in depth and good players. It will be a tough game for us but we showed we could do it against Toulouse and everyone knows how well we can attack when we’re on song.
We have got good players all over the pitch and it’s a case of trying to get our good guys in space and score some points. Edinburgh have shifted a lot of tries in the league but they haven’t in Europe. We are preparing for the Edinburgh team that beat Toulouse, we know we can beat them.
Ulster are one of the best teams in Europe at the moment ... They are a very strong team with some very big names. There is no question how tough it is going to be. But Toulouse are one of the best teams if not the best in the world in terms of history and depth of playing ability. It will be tough, but...
I felt that little bit more experience I had helped me be more mentally prepared and calm before the Toulouse game, which is very important ... You don’t want to feel out of your depth, as soon as you do that, that’s when you make mistakes. I feel in a good place right now and I think that’s showing in ...
I missed the game after that [semi-final defeat in Toulouse]. It was a great occasion and we were delighted to get a win but I was off to hospital and missed the semis.
The quarter-final win over Toulouse is the team's benchmark in terms of performance. That is our starting point ... We've shown we're capable of delivering on the big stage and this is our latest test.
Craig Chalmers missed a kick in the final minute that would have won it for Edinburgh. Meanwhile over in Wales, Ebbw Vale had somehow beaten Toulouse in a game with a lot of fighting – having lost the reverse fixture by over 100 points.
Harlequins have proved themselves over the course of a long season - they won at Welford Road, they beat Toulouse in Europe and they beat Saracens at Wembley just a few weeks ago, so they are still going well. We've been playing well too, we've got ourselves into a good position now and we are still goi...
This will be a very important match for us. Three points could allow us to look further up the table ... I am expecting a difficult game. Toulouse are a good side but we ran them close in our last meeting (Wass scored in a 2-1 defeat) and we know we can compete with them. We have lost our last three hom...
We've already got over disappointments this season and overcome them. My squad wants to fulfil the two objectives in front of us. We've lost one battle but two remain. The games come thick and fast and that means you don't ask too many questions of yourselves. Toulouse away will be tough but I think we'...
As league leaders and European pace-setters they will be keen make big statements between now and the continuation of their European title defence ... What pleases me is that we go into the match off the back of two wins over quality opposition, Scarlets and Toulouse, from which we can take a lot of con...
Gazélec got the job done when they eliminated Toulouse and Montpellier. They have a lot of quality in defence and attack. Our attitude will be the most important thing. We need to really get into cup mode. Apart from the match against Nicosia, we've been at our best in sudden-death matches this season.
A place in the play-offs? We'll talk about that after the match against Toulouse who are a class above us
We wanted to have a look at Stuart at seven. This could be a tactical switch we might look at in the Toulouse game, so we’ll try it out here.
Three children and a rabbi were shot dead by a gunman at a Jewish school in Toulouse, France, on Monday, and President Nicolas Sarkozy said the bullets from one of the two guns used match those in earlier attacks that killed three French soldiers.
You can't fall behind against this kind of team. Our teamwork wasn't there and we lost the midfield battle ... They were stronger than us. Toulouse deserved to win.
I have been approached by many top overseas clubs such as Toulouse and Clermont in the France Top 14, also the Newcastle Knights rugby league club in the Australian Rugby League competition
That was one of our worst games of the season ... I told my players not to feel disappointed because what we showed tonight wasn't enough. Toulouse deserved to win because we weren't up to it in terms of our aggression, our technical ability.

Toulouse FC and Edinburgh: IN all the euphoria surrounding Edinburgh's remarkable triumph over four-time champions Toulouse in Murrayfield last weekend, perhaps the most telling reaction came from captain Greig Laidlaw.
Toulouse FC and Ireland: Thus, we have the same Ireland side and one selection change for the French, Julien Bonnaire coming in for Louis Picamoles in the back-row, the other alteration being forced by injury to full-back Maxime Medard, his Toulouse club-mate Clement Poitrenaud slotting in as a direct replacement.
Toulouse FC and Ulster: That's not to say that there isn't an extra buzz surrounding the Heineken Cup -- our first Heineken Cup match against Harlequins will be massive and there will be a massive buzz around the province when Toulouse come to town -- but Cardiff at home this weekend is a huge fixture, as is Ulster away the following weekend, and that is the way we have to approach every game.
