We want the focus to be on Usain Bolt this summer and not us.

We want the focus to be on Usain Bolt this summer and not us.
I am working on my start because last year it eluded me for a little while but I have to work through it this season so I am just looking forward to getting it done
I think everybody is really looking forward to the men’s 100 metres with Usain Bolt as the showcase event. Usain Bolt is head and shoulders above the rest. Providing he doesn’t false start, he’s injury free and healthy, I think he’ll blow the field away
This will be my first 100m, so I am just going out there (to try) to get everything right because it's all about execution.
We want the focus to be on (Jamaican sprinter) Usain Bolt this summer and not us
I think people want the rivalry because it builds the sport up, but it’d be much easier if we were in separate camps or separate countries
We want the focus to be on Usain Bolt, not what we're doing here
I want to just wow people, just to stun the world ... When they turn their TV off after these races, they should sit back in their chairs for a minute and think about what just happened.
Technology makes athletes perform better, there is proof of it ... In some sports, you can measure, like a hundred meter, for example, Usain Bolt. He’s a great athlete. But athletes are better today because they have better shoes, better training regiments, the science that behind it is better.
It was like God knew this was going to happen
We found out on Christmas eve that we were going to be involved. It was amazing news to get for Christmas. It could be the case that as the world's eyes focus on Usain Bolt just before the race, one of our athletes is stood right behind him.
He’s, like, ‘I’m not going to sell you a motorbike.’ I was, like, ‘Why?’ He was like, ‘Really? If anything happen to you, they’re going to come to me, so I’m not going to sell [it to] you.’ So that’s out the window completely ... If I mention motorbike to anybody, they freak out. So I just leave it alon...
I am sure as she speeds past Usain Bolt, she will turn round and reflect that indeed the only way is Essex.
It is always a great privilege to run in front of my home fans. This will be my first big meet of 2012 as I prepare to defend my titles in the Olympic Games in London in August
It would be the same as if Usain Bolt runs a race on his own and logs a time, then everyone else tries to beat that time ... It’s ridiculous, it’s not competitive. You want to be with your competitors so if Chernova does throw 53 metres, you can say, ‘Right I’ve got to pull my finger out and throw somet...
People are looking forward to me running 9.4, 19 seconds, anything that's amazing
That we should have more money? That we should be better looking? At some point looking to [celebrities] for style advice is about as useful as Usain Bolt telling your average track athlete, ‘Just run faster’.
I'm always a bit nervous before my first race but I got through it OK and that's good
Two years ago, our boys 4×400 relay team ran 20 minutes before the USA vs. the World 4×100-meter relay, and we had the chance to see Usain Bolt, and the kids had the chance to be on the infield while the Olympic Development teams from USA and Jamaica were warming up
I could have pushed some more towards the end but my coach told me to take it easy tonight
I'm not being arrogant, I clearly could do things at 400m that no other person could do in this country. Derek Redmond was similar to me. You can't buy that. Seb Coe, Usain Bolt and Michael Johnson. You can't create those athletes. You can work with talented people, but they won't necessarily win you me...
For me, it's just about execution
Yeah, whatevs, Usain Bolt. I crossed that line before you. And I ran further.
I’ve been waiting for this summer for four years ... I’m going to enjoy every moment, and put on a show for everybody around the world.
